How long is the credit repair process?

The average time for credit repair is four to six months or as needed.

Does credit repair guarantee 100% removal?

Credit Recovery Group complies with the Federal Trade Commission, State, and Local government regulations and the Credit Repair Organization Act, in that we cannot, by law, guarantee a specific outcome or result. However, we do promise to legally do everything possible on your behalf to restore your good credit.

What happens if an account gets verified or validated?

In most cases, the account will remain in your credit report until the statute of limitations
has been met. You may contact the source of information if you would like to make a
payment arrangement. Settlement letters are available upon request.

How do I send my responses received?

Original documentation should be sent via regular mail as for the reports are often multiple pages and are printed front and back. In past cases, a fax or email has been too dark, blurry, or has had missing pages. We have found that it takes more time to request clients to resend documentation for incomplete or unclear letters.

How long is each investigation?

An investigation takes approximately four to six week to receive a response.

How can I keep track of my credit repair process?

We assign you a personal username and password to access our online portal. Our customer service representatives are also available Monday to Friday from 8: 30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Is Credit Report Restoration legal?

ABSOLUTELY! Since over 80% of credit reports contain inaccurate information, we interpret the consumer rights according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and State Finance Codes.
If I am in active military duty, what should I do to protect my credit report?
Active- duty military personnel who are away from their regular duty station may file “active duty” alerts to help prevent identity theft.
